Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Istika Building Materials, we appreciate your business with us, and we work hard to provide you with a flawless shopping experience with us in addition to providing high-quality building materials. However, we can understand that in certain situations in which you might need to return or cancel your order. Although we regret to see you cancel an order, our goal is to make it an easy and hassle-free process.

For your clear and proper understanding of the refund and cancellation policy, the terms like “The Company,” “We,” “Us,” and “Our” refer to Istika Building Materials. You” and “Your” refer to you, the user who is returning or cancelling the order. The vendor is subjected to the person or company who supplies the products. 

Return and Cancellation Policy For Cement, Steel, Bricks & Pavers, Aggregates & Sand

For specific products like cement, steel, bricks & pavers, aggregates & sand, the return, refund and cancellation policy is different from other building material products we offer on our website as follows:

On-the-spot returns:

Products such as cement, steel, bricks & pavers, aggregates & sand can only be returned on the spot at the time of delivery. This is the only option available for the return of these products. 

Immediate Notification: 

If you wish to cancel your order, notify Istika Building Materials one day prior to your delivery, and for return of materials, notify us immediately upon the arrival of your materials.

Vendor Approval Required: 

Returns are subjected to the approval of our vendors on the specified products like cement, steel, sand, aggregates, bricks, & pavers. If the vendor does not accept the return of these products, they cannot be returned, and you will need to accept the delivery. In such cases, transportation and labour charges will still apply. 

Transportation Charges: 

Transportation charges are mandatory and applicable even for returned orders. Regardless of whether the vendor accepts or rejects the return of the goods, these charges are still applicable.

Conduct of Products: 

Products like cement, steel, bricks & pavers, sand & aggregates must be in returnable condition to qualify for a return. Damaged goods will not be accepted in any circumstances.

Cancellation Before Unloading: 

Customers must return their orders before unloading materials like cement,steel, bricks & pavers, sand & aggregates. Returns will not be accepted without vendor approval. 

Refund and cancellation Policy For other Products 

For other building material products available on our website, like Electrical Materials, Plumbing & Conduits, Paints, Door & windows etc., a refund and cancellation policy is outlined below. 

Order cancellation:

You may cancel your order for other products anytime before dispatch. Please contact Istika Building Materials to request a cancellation. Cancellations will not be accepted after the order is shipped.

Return Window:

You can return products within 24 hours of the delivery, provided materials must be in their original condition and packaging. Proof of purchase must be provided at the time of the return request.

Condition of Products: 

The products/materials that are returned must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging. Items that are damaged, used, or missing are not eligible for return and refund.

Refund Process:

A refund for all the above-mentioned eligible orders will be processed within 7-10 business days in accordance with the respective banks after the products are received and inspected. Refunds will be issued using the original payment method that was used for the transaction.

Defective or Wrong Items: 

If in any case you receive a defective (subjective to Terms & Conditions) or incorrect product. Kindly let us know within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund accordingly.
